FAQ

How long have you been doing makeup?

How long have you been doing makeup?

Hard to say. First, I began doing it for fun on my friends in high school, around 2011. I then started charging for services about 2 years later, in 2013. This would mean I have been practicing makeup for 8 years! However, I finally decided to pursue makeup artistry full force in 2020.

How much do you charge?

How much do you charge?

I offer all types of makeup for all kinds of events and productions, so the rates vary. Please see my listed rates here. Also yes, false lashes are always included ;)

Do you do hair?

Do you do hair?

My first love will always be makeup, but 2 years ago I started practicing hair styling as well. I can do braids, curls, and updos for your special events or production shoots, however I do not offer blow drying. If you have wavy/curly hair, it must be blow dried smooth prior to the appointment. To make sure we are on the same page, I always ask my clients for hair inspiration pictures.

What makeup brands do you use?

What makeup brands do you use?

I use a variety of makeup brands that offer my tried and true products. These include but are not limited to: MAC, Tarte, Morphe, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercier, NARS, Tatcha, and Stila. I use a mix of luxury and drugstore products, always making sure that the product chosen will provide my client with the ideal makeup application; able to withstand hours of wear.

Can you do makeup on dark skin tones?

Do you travel?

Yes, I typically offer travel only since I am currently still building my studio. Also, if you’re referring to traveling out-of-state or internationally, please specify that in your inquiry and I would most likely love to travel there! I love visiting new places, and providing myself with a change of scenery. I am a US citizen and have a valid passport.

Can I travel to you?

Can I travel to you?

At the moment, I am not accepting any new clients to travel to my home. If you are a previous client of mine, message me and we’ll discuss!

Can I add-on hair extensions?

Are you vaccinated/do you wear a mask?

Yes! I believe hair extensions are a game changer when it comes to hairstyling. Please let me know this in advance, so we can plan for the additional time required for this service. The fee for hair extensions is $25. You provide your own clip-ins, but I can definitely provide you with options.

Have your face washed with zero skincare or makeup product, before I arrive. For hair appointments, please have your hair clean, blow dried, without kinks or added products, ready to be curled! Lastly, notify me of any gate code or parking details I may need, to make sure there are no delays.
